Math Rally — Privacy Policy

Math Rally is a multiplication practice game made for children. This page explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with information, both today and if certain features described below are turned on in a future update.

The short version

Math Rally does not collect, store, or share any personal information, from children or from anyone else. Everything the app remembers — your coins, the cars you've unlocked, your best distance, your chosen language, and your sound setting — stays on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere.

What the app does not do

• It does not require an account, sign-in, or email address.
• It does not collect names, birthdates, photos, contacts, or location.
• It does not use analytics or tracking of any kind.
• It does not include chat, messaging, or any way for players to communicate with each other or with strangers.
• It does not let players buy cars, coins, or any in-game item with real money. Everything in the Garage is earned by playing. (The app's one real purchase, Practice Mode, is described below — it doesn't touch the Garage at all.)
• It does not share information with third parties, because none is collected in the first place.

Advertising

Math Rally does not currently show any advertising. A future update may add optional advertising to help support the game. If it does:

• Ads will only ever be contextual, not behavioral — never based on tracking what a child does in the app or elsewhere.
• No personal information or device identifiers will be sent to an advertising partner.
• Only advertising services with publicly documented, human-reviewed policies for children's apps will be used, and ad content will be appropriate for children.
• This policy will be updated to name the specific advertising service in use before that update is released, not after.

What the app stores, and where

Math Rally saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults). This covers:

• Coins earned and cars/colors unlocked
• Best distance reached, for each game mode
• Chosen language (English, Turkish, or Spanish)
• Sound on/off setting
• Whether Practice Mode has been purchased, and which times tables are currently selected for it
• A rolling record of the last 100 wrong answers, used only to show which times tables a child finds hardest. This is never shown to anyone - including a parent - without a simple grown-up question being answered first inside the app.

This information never leaves the device, is not backed up to any server we operate, and is deleted automatically if the app is deleted.

Purchases

Math Rally currently offers one optional in-app purchase: Practice Mode, a one-time upgrade that lets a player choose exactly which times tables to drill, and lets a parent see which facts their child gets wrong most often. This is the only thing real money can buy in the app right now — it does not unlock cars, coins, or anything else, and it never expires or renews. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit; we do not receive or store any payment or card information. As required for a children's app, both buying Practice Mode and viewing the practice insights sit behind a simple question a grown-up answers first, so neither can happen by accident from a child playing alone.

Children's privacy

Math Rally is designed to be safe for children to use on their own. No personal information is collected, and if advertising is ever introduced it will be limited to the contextual, non-tracking, human-reviewed kind described above — never anything that profiles or identifies a child.

Changes to this policy

If what's described here changes — most notably, when advertising is actually turned on — this page will be updated first, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
